Do not apply liquidgasketto the O-ringgrooves. Apply liquid gasketto the inner threadsof the bolt noles. Apply liquid gasket alongthe brokenline. Inspectboth rotorsand the pump housingfor scorpans if necessary.
Replace 1 5. Remove old oil sealfrom the oil pump. Do not installthe pans if five minutesor more have elapsed sinceapplyingliquid gasket. Instead, reapply liquidgasketafter removingold residue.
